Bio

I am a concert accordion performer and educator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, offering performances and lessons.

I perform solo, in chamber music ensembles and with orchestra. I also teach accordion lessons at my private studio to accordionists of varying skill levels to improve musical skill and growth, and hold a Bachelor of Music degree with distinction, from the University of Calgary in both Composition and Accordion Performance. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Performance on accordion at the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts. I currently study with distinguished Classical Concert Accordionist Sir N. Antonio Peruch, and have been awarded grants from professional organizations including the Canada Council of the Arts and the Alberta Foundation of the Arts. I am currently working on a research project: adapting early music for accordion, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) in Canada. My performance credits include the world-renowned Luciano Pavarotti, Itzhak Perlman, Renée Fleming, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and appearances in Canada, Dubai and Europe.
