Bio

I am an accordion performer and educator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I perform solo, in chamber music ensembles and with orchestra. I also teach accordion lessons to accordionists of varying skill levels. I am currently pursuing my PhD graduate degree in Transdisciplinary Research in music and education at the University of Calgary, and hold a Master of Music degree in Performance on accordion from the University of Calgary under distinguished concert accordionist Sir N. Antonio Peruch. I have been awarded grants from professional organizations including the Canada Council for the Arts, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) in Canada. My performance credits include the world-renowned Luciano Pavarotti, Itzhak Perlman, Renée Fleming, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and appearances in Canada, Dubai and Europe.
