Bio

I am an accordion performer and educator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I perform solo, in chamber music ensembles and with orchestra. I also teach accordion lessons to accordionists of varying skill levels. I hold a Master of Music degree on accordion from the University of Calgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts, and study with distinguished concert accordionist Sir N. Antonio Peruch. I have been awarded grants from professional organizations including the Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. I am currently working on a research project adapting early music for accordion, funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) in Canada. My performance credits include the world-renowned Luciano Pavarotti, Itzhak Perlman, Renée Fleming, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and appearances in Canada, Dubai and Europe.
